The Relationship of Late Time To Start Elective Operation With Pre-Operating Patient's Anxiety in The Operating Room of RS Islam Bogor

Introduction: Surgery is a stressful complex event, the most common response that occurs in pre-operative patients, one of which is a psychological/anxiety response, is caused by the delay in the start of surgery after the patient is in the operating room preparation room.
Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive using cross sectional with accidental sampling technique with the number of respondents 65 people. This study was analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chie-square test (0.05) with the alternative test Fisher's Exact Test.
Results: Of the 65 respondents, the delay in starting surgery time > 30 minutes was 44 respondents (67.7%), 52 respondents (80%). Operation in the operating room with p value 0.000.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the delay in the start of elective surgery and the anxiety of pre-operative patients in the operating room of RS Islam Bogor.
